I'm A Volunteer. How Can I Make The Biggest Impact?

National Volunteer Week (April 17-21) honors the individuals who continue to dedicate themselves to taking action and solving the problem of affordable housing in their communities. Join us all week in celebrating your influence through hands-on opportunities to support some of the Triangle's most impactful housing nonprofits while also expanding your own understanding of just how much volunteers can change the world around them.

This week-long, nationwide event engages, convenes, and celebrates the importance of volunteers and recognizes their impact across our community. Volunteers will donate their time to serve alongside United Way of the Greater Triangle, our nonprofit partners, and other community organizations across the Triangle.

All of our events this week center around housing affordability. A critical issue in our area, and vital to maintaining healthy families.

Engage Your Hands, Your Head, Your Heart:

With opportunities all week to learn and volunteer in-person, there's no reason you can't find something that'll work for your schedule.

We've curated a full week of volunteer opportunities that will give you hands-on access to impact that matters.
