Our communities are defined by our connected stories. They highlight shared feelings and experiences, emphasize triumphs and fears, and mobilize us to create a greater good.
But after all the words have been said, the people behind them remain. Introducing AfterWords, United Way of the Greater Triangle’s live, first-person storytelling event series. AfterWords explores the distinctive space where issues and individuals meet, and uncovers the truths that lie beneath and beyond our stories. The next AfterWords event is coming on Friday, December 17, 12-1 pm. The theme of this event is “Home.” Will you join us?
Meet the storytellers (updated in real time):
- Jenice Ramirez, Executive Director of ISLA NC and a United Way 10 To Watch Leader
- Seth Friedman, CEO of Passage Home
