The Food Shuttle Farm has always been a special place.  With the addition of our Multi-Purpose Building and Tractor Shed, the Farm will serve as a learning and gathering space for the community, providing another outlet for our various growing, gardening and cooking curriculum. These buildings encompass our feed, teach, grow, and cultivate approaches to ending hunger in a meaningful and substantive way.

We are celebrating this expansion of the Food Shuttle Farm and the growing impact for our neighbors with a Ribbon Cutting event on Thursday, May 19.  Volunteers are needed to help with the execution of the event.

There are 2 shifts available: 

The 2:30-4:30 pm shift tasks include assisting the event planner with the set up of tables, chairs, décor, the bar, etc.

The 4:30-7:30 pm shift will begin with an orientation and the assignment to tasks: parking, assisting bartender (No experience or license needed), assisting food truck staff, bussing/waste management. Volunteers will be able to enjoy the food from the event: food off the Spinning Plate, desserts, etc.

Volunteers must be 21 or older.  You will receive a Food Shuttle Volunteer t-shirt and should plan to wear it for the event.
