Career Day is on Friday, July 9th, 10am-12pm at Durham Academy Middle School. During this time, students will hear from individuals in interesting careers, such as your own, and learn about the professional/academic journey and daily responsibilities of someone in your field of work. At Student U, we are dedicated to the safety of our students, faculty, staff, and volunteers. Given the current pandemic, we are giving speakers the option to participate in person or virtually.

If you decide to participate and join us on campus, we are still operating with a six-foot social distance and mandatory mask protocol. We are hoping to create a mock working environment for our students and want them to be as involved as possible. Whether your presentation is virtual or in-person, we ask that you take a “day in the life approach” and provide the students with hands-on activities or thorough demonstrations to best educate them about your profession. You are able to get as creative as possible and we will work together to make sure it happens and is in alignment with our COVID-19 regulations.
