Volunteer Position: We are seeking individual volunteers to help provide curbside deliveries to our partner schools/ learning center (s) sites in Wake county. Volunteers will be able to utilize our Food Shuttle vans and carts to help distribute 45 boxes = 450 meal bags to 3 partner sites in Chatham County.

Volunteer driver (s) will report to the Child Food Hub – 2436 South Miami, Ste 200-9, Durham, NC 27703. The driver will be given a route sheet, keys, and contact information to notify designated site (s) upon site arrival (s). Each partner site will have a table or cart set up outside of their facilities for “NO CONTACT” drop off. Volunteer (s) are not allowed to enter site (s) due to COVID- related restrictions.

    • Must review waiver and COVID-19 safety protocol and procedures.
    • Must be able to lift 30-35 pounds
    • Must wear closed-toe shoes.
