Like so many people, Clara grew up with the reminder that “family is forever.” She’s also afraid her family will be further torn apart if she doesn’t find a way to cover her unexpected bills.

The house cleaning company that Clara works for has offered her additional shifts on the weekends and Clara’s neighbor has offered to watch Andy and Cassidy for free during those times.

While Clara knows that quality time with her grandchildren is necessary to create the family dynamics her grandchildren need now, she decides she can’t risk more financial instability in the future. She tells herself that she’ll find a way to make it up to them.
