It’s that time of year again… when I ask you to support a charity in memory of my brother, Bryon Tyler Burdick, who passed away in 1989 from leukemia. This year’s charity is the United Way of the Greater Triangle who help to provide access to quality childcare, affordable housing, access to healthy food, good jobs, and overall well-being to families and children in the Triangle. Click here to learn more about what they do.
I’m been training for and am running the Kiawah half-marathon on December 9th. Pushing a jog stroller in a race remains a thing of the past, so my race goals now revolve around being as fast as I can be without being hurt.
You continue to amaze me with your generosity. We surpassed the $100k raised mark last year, in our 13th year of fund raising! Let’s try to keep up the good work for this year’s run in memory of Bryon. Please consider a tax-deductible donation to this important organization using the form below, or if you prefer a check, make it out to the “United Way of the Greater Triangle” and mail to me at 135 Barclay Valley Drive, Cary, NC, 27519.
No need to donate either. Please feel free to just ask me how my training or fund raising is going.
Thank you, as always for your help,
