United Way of the Greater Triangle Senior Leadership
D. Mark Langford
Chief Financial Officer
Having worked both in the United States and internationally, D. Mark Langford is the United Way of the Greater Triangle’s Chief Financial Officer. Langford’s work at the organization has created better understanding between the donor and agency communities by publishing policies and meeting commitments.
Currently Langford serves on the finance committees for both Wake County SmartStart and the Metropolis of Atlanta Greek Orthodox Church. He has also served on the boards of the Executive Service Corps of the Greater Triangle and the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Preschool.
Langford earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from UNC-Wilmington and an MBA from the Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina. He is also a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and of the North Carolina Association of CPA’s.
Prior to his most recent position, Mark served as Regional Controller for a multi-billion dollar technology company and as Director of Sales Support for an emerging markets sales team. Additionally, Mark served as President of the Board of Directors for the SPCA of Wake County.
