Senior Vice President of Resource Development
Senior Vice President of Resource Development, Jim Green’s primary duty is to collaborate with a diverse group of community leaders and staff to develop a workplace fundraising strategy that supports the mission of United Way of the Greater Triangle. Previously from Pikes Peak United Way in Colorado Springs, CO, Green was both volunteer director and campaign director there.
Green served with the U.S. Air Force during the Persian Gulf War which inspired him to become a community activist for international relief and disaster aid to India and Indonesia.
Green has a B.A. in Middle East Studies, Arabic Language, from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Colorado. A native of Greenville, NC, Green lives in Raleigh with his wife Heather and their young son.
