Cecil Wright, Jr. is Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Information Services for United Way of the Greater Triangle. Cecil started his career with the State of New Hampshire’s Information Technology Department. He joined Nortel Networks in 1978 and served in various senior IT positions throughout his 24 year career.
He has been with United Way of the Greater Triangle since 2002. Under his leadership Teaming for Technology, a community service of United Way of the Greater Triangle, has expanded to serve counties outside the Triangle.
Wright, a New Hampshire native, holds undergrad degrees in Management Information Systems and Business Administration and received his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. Wright and his wife Regina live in Raleigh and have three children.
