Are you blessed to have a roof over your head, food on the table, healthy children?  Is your job stable, is your family safe, are your kids getting a decent education?  Even though you might say things could be better, things are much worse for so many people in the Triangle.  Because of your donations last year, United Way partner agencies helped nearly 500,000 people in the Triangle with basic needs and long term solutions to problems.

Identifying our most vulnerable homeless neighbors

On any given night, there are nearly 2,000 people who are homeless in the Triangle.  Of those, about 300 are chronically homeless.  Living on the streets long-term is deadly. Studies show that chronically homeless people are more vulnerable and succumb to preventable illnesses two to three times more than the general population.
