United Way of the Greater Triangle Charticles

October 2009 - Current Economic Impact #2: volunteers playing a vital role in keeping Triangle health and human service nonprofit services available to those who need them most

This month’s charticle continues focus upon the impact of the economic climate on United Way of the Greater Triangle’s Partner Agencies, and the resurgence of volunteerism within these agencies.

In a June 2009 survey, Partner Agencies were asked questions about revenue, budget impact, demand for services, impact on beneficiaries, and participation in applying for American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Stimulus) grants.  This charticle highlights the responses, providing a regional snapshot of the data collected, including the increase in volunteerism throughout the agencies.

Links to the survey data and useful resources are also available on the right side of this page.
