The Young Leaders Society Mission
![]() |
Our mission is to foster participation, commitment, growth and education of Triangle United Way's Young Leaders in order to further United Way's vision that, "All Who Need Help Find It."
The Young Leaders Society is a continuing its initiative within United Way of the Greater Triangle that seeks to engage and develop the young professional. This initiative enables professionals under 40 to stay connected to and make positive contributions to their community.
Through their leadership giving, and by actively participating in volunteer, personal and professional growth opportunities, Young Leaders are helping United Way make a lasting, positive impact in people's lives throughout the Triangle.
There is something new and exciting around the Triangle.. the philanthropic voice of the Young Leaders Society. This newly formed group of young professionals is willing to invest in their communities. Professionals all across Durham, Johnston, Orange, and Wake counties are coming together, forming an alliance with United Way of the Greater Triangle to address issues that threaten the very fabric of our community.
This site will provide details on how to get involved through volunteer opportunities, develop your professional skills, and network with professional, business leaders in the community. For additional information, visit the links to the left!
