The splendor, tranquility and charming ambience of the Italian Umbrian Hills can be yours with a week long stay at Le Vigne. A former 12th century convent on 15+ acres, Le Vigne has been renovated to exacting modern standards. Conveniently located 20 minutes from Tuscany and 90 minutes from Rome, Le Vigne is an ideal self-catering vacation base.
Le Vigne was divided in the 1700's for family expansion. The fully furnished and screened property comfortably sleeps seven. There are four bedrooms (three doubles, one single) that are air-conditioned (excepting the single) and three bathrooms (two ensuite). There is a spacious and fully equipped eat-in kitchen and large living area.
The villa offers many opportunities to enjoy splendid surroundings. Swim in the oversize azure pool surrounded by an olive grove, play tennis or bocce on lighted clay courts or simply relax in a lounge chair at this hilltop haven and experience the spectacular views.
The historic and charming locales of Cortona, Orvieto, Perugia, Todi, Gubbio, Arezzo, Assisi, Lago Trasimeno, Spoleto, Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza are all within easy driving distance for wonderful day trips.
Le Vigne's owners live on the property and speak English, Italian and Spanish. They will be happy to arrange for as many additional services as desired. From maid service, cooking lessons, Italian or painting classes to golf and tours - hospitality and warmth are the trademarks of a week's stay at Le Vigne.

Auction Rules
All bids will be placed via email to United Way of the Greater Triangle.
Auction ends at 12:30 pm September 24th during the WLC Awards Luncheon and Dessert Auction.
The opening bid is 4,400 Euro, and the winning bidder will honor the exchange rate from Euro to Dollars as published at 12:30 pm on September 24th, 2010.
Bidding is limited to Women who contribute $600 or more annually to United Way of the Greater Triangle, and their invited guests.
The winning bidder will coordinate with the property owner to secure an available week for stay. The time does not have to be used within this current year, but must be identified during this current year.
If the winner desires more than one week, additional weeks may be purchased directly from the property owner.
This auction winner will pay the property owner for a portion of the price and will pay the remainder to United Way of the Greater Triangle. Only the amount paid to United Way of the Greater Triangle will be considered tax deductible.
This property is offered to a maximum of seven guests. Four couples cannot be accomodated.
