Tocqueville Society
The Tocqueville Society is named for French historian and author Alexis de Tocqueville who visited the United States in the 1800’s and so admired America’s spirit of neighbor helping neighbor. This tradition continues as the Triangle’s visionary leaders do the same thing… help their neighbors overcome poverty and achieve permanent solutions. This unparalleled commitment reflects their extraordinary concern, foresight and dedication to inspire a better way of life for everyone.
United Way of the Greater Triangle is proud to recognize these visionary philanthropists who annually contribute $10,000 or more to United Way of the Greater Triangle. To see a list of Society members, see our attached local Leadership Giving Recognition Book.
Please notify Constance Davis at 919-463-5049, or cdavis@unitedwaytriangle.org, if we should correct your records to indicate a combined gift between you and your spouse to bring you to a Tocqueville Society giving level (see levels here).
