2008 IBM Technology Grant - Welcome

Triangle United Way and IBM Corporate Community Relations are excited to announce that we are once again partnering to grant new computer equipment to area nonprofits and schools.

During the 2008 grant cycle, we will award a total of 113 ThinkCentre M57 desktop computers and 45 ThinkPad T61 series laptops through two avenues:

CONVENTIONAL EQUIPMENT GRANT
This grant is intended for agencies in need of a small quantity of computers for administrative use and/or programs and services.  50%  of all the total equipment will be awarded in this category.

INNOVATION GRANT
TUW and IBM will award 50% of the total equipment to a number of agencies via this category.  Innovation Grants are intended for agencies that are implementing new innovative programs, or expanding existing ones, where technology equipment is an essential piece of a larger project.  We are looking for programs that leverage innovative tools and foster collaborative relationships to achieve effective solutions.
