Triangle United Way Member Agencies Host Successful Employee Campaigns

Wake County Member Agencies

  • White Plains Children’s Center raised a whoppping 489 percent more than last year.
  • Alliance of AIDS Services - Carolina raised 147 percent increase more than last year.
  • Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina had a 145 percent increase over last year’s total.
  • Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities had a 52 percent increase over last year’s total.
  • Haven House had an 18 percent increase over last year’s total and giving to the Community Care Fund increased by 25 percent.
  • SouthLight, Inc., celebrated a 13 percent increase over last year’s total and giving to the Community Care Fund total increased by 18 percent.

Durham County Member Agencies

  • The Arc of Durham County had an 128 percent increase in employee giving.
  • John Avery Boys & Girls Club was one of many member agencies running campaigns and had a 77 percent increase.
  • Coordinating Council for Senior Citizens has an increase of 138 percent
  • Genesis Home was very supportive in conducting presentations and running a great campaign.

Orange County Member Agencies

  • Freedom House Recovery Center raised 80 percent more than last year.
  • Child Care Services Association ran an outstanding employee campaign raising 20 percent more than last year.
