Hunt takes the Helm
Vice Chairs Smedes York and Bob Grecyzn will lead in 2007 and 2008
Outgoing Triangle United Way Board Chair Dave Benevides passed the Chairman’s gavel to incoming Chairman Dave Hunt Triangle United Way Annual Meeting. Hunt is a partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP . The event marked the 10th Anniversary of Triangle United Way serving Durham, Orange and Wake counties.
“I am very excited about my new role with Triangle United Way,” said Hunt. “The organization has played a vital role in sustaining lives by providing health and human services for 10 years. I am honored to be able to help move United Way into a second decade of caring.”
Chair Orage Quarles III, President and Publisher of The News & Observer handed the reigns of Campaign Chair to Tom Adams. Adams is the President of Time Warner Cable’s Raleigh Division.
The Board of Directors welcomed new board members Ronald G. Wainwright, Jr., RSM McGladrey, Inc. and Dave Anna, Resolute Building.
