Patricia Kramer, Duke Raleigh Hospital
Patricia “Pat” Kramer has served as the Campaign Leader for the second year in a row at Duke Raleigh Hospital,
and each time has taken the campaign efforts to another level. An amazing professional, Pat willingly bought her
enthusiasm, experience, leadership and commitment to community initiatives to the table and led Duke Raleigh to
another year of success.
Pat’s drive for excellence propelled her to act effectively and efficiently during each phase of the campaign.
Beginning with the Campaign Analysis & Training(CAT) seminar in the spring, Pat continued to work behind the
scenes in preparation for the 2007 campaign. She solicited the support of CEO Doug Vinsel and other executive
leaders and started strategizing right away to enhance their overall efforts.
Pat’s diligence has paid off, as Duke Raleigh experienced an 88% increase in total dollars raised from the previous
year, which says a lot since they had a 539% increase in 2006. Duke Raleigh’s campaign efforts have continued to
grow year after year under Pat’s extraordinary leadership as they experienced increases in employee participation,
average gift, and leadership donors.
