The Corporate Compass is awarded to a Triangle business that is headed in the right direction by investing their time, talent, and treasure in the community. All too rarely do companies incorporate philanthropy into the very fabric of their business practices. However, a visionary sees the big picture – when our community thrives, so does our business.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car is a company with a vision. Regional Vice President, Adam Schneider, and Campaign Leader, Paula Lushene, have translated that vision into action. Enterprise has supported United Way campaigns for well over a decade. During that time, the company has achieved incredible results.
In 2007 alone they had an impressive 75% employee participation rate, raised nearly $120,000 in corporate and employee giving, and promoted the United Way at several company events. Beyond monetary gifts, employees are active in their communities by donating their time and talent to enrich the lives of others.
