Of Talecris’ 4,000 employees worldwide, approximately 2,000 work in either RTP or in their Clayton manufacturing facility. Talecris’ UW Employee Campaigns in the Triangle area benefited both TUW ($42,434) and Johnston County UW ($27,264). The combined $69,698 in 2007 was 27% above the previous year’s employee totals. In addition, Talecris provided $30,000 in the sponsorship of the 2007 Old Reliable Run and an additional $3,350 in runner registration fees from 134 Talecris runners participating in this event.
