The staff and employees at Capital Bank had their work cut out for them, as their CEO-Grant Yarber took center stage and declared their 2007 campaign goal. Realizing their potential and overall dedication to the community, he stood confidently to announce a goal of an 11% increase over their 2006 efforts.

Employees proceeded to embrace their leader’s vision though, and rallied together to make it happen. With Grant leading the way, sharing inspiring messages and endorsing a letter to all employees, the campaign committee facilitated the kickoff event, featuring the 20-minute presentation package, and held a separate leadership event to
increase their leadership donors.

In the end, they had a 52% increase in employee participation and had surpassed their original goal, raising over 14% more than in 2006. Finally, to demonstrate their commitment in attacking the community’s most critical issues, over 85% of their donations went to the Community Care Fund.
