The "Dow Reichhold Midway” Offers Employees State Fair Fun to Raise Money
Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex LLC, a Triangle United Way top contributor in 2005 , has done an outstanding job of coordinating their campaign this year, with an explosion of creativity, energy, and excitement like none other.
The state fair-themed campaign kicked off on October 2 and featured fun-filled activities for employees similar to the NC State Fair. In the midst of the 'fair' employees learned about Triangle United Way's impact in the community. The “Dow Reichhold Midway” offered employees a chance to join in the fun with games of Skee Ball, Ring Toss and Plinko while enjoying endless pizza, popcorn and cotton candy on site.
Closing day at the fair featured a Pie Throwing contest, with the manager with the most votes receiving the prized pie. Everyone at Dow had a good time for a good cause. With a combination of employee contributions, donations from the special event activities, and a corporate gift Dow has raised a little over $40,000 for the United Way Community Care Fund campaign. Many thanks to the Campaign Leader, Annetta Johnson, and each of the campaign committee members on a job well done! WAY TO GO!!
