Chairman's Award of Excellence-Employee Campaign Performance

Focusing on sustained employee awareness and a shortened period, the team used a variety of methods to keep United Way top-of-mind. Employee giving increased by 23 percent thanks to 307 employees who pledged $135,410. Fun strategies and constant awareness, every department increased employee participation in the campaign.

Additionally, Orage Quarles III, President and Publisher, hosted a separate Leadership Campaign Luncheon for top managers that generated greater awareness of the value of giving to The Community Care Fund. The number of leadership circle members increased from 19 to 31.
