This last weekend, the News and Observer ran a great story explaining how the Department of Justice is threatening to sue the State of North Carolina. The Department of Justice is contending that the State of North Carolina is violating the Americans with Disabilities Act by not having housing available to people with mental illness other than institutions and adult care homes. You may be surprised, but I have to say, I’m not.
